This is what the visitor sees

First of all the user sees an appointment overview entirely matching your Web site layout. It is displayed weekly and can also be browsed through weekly. You can modify the layout using appropriate header and footer files or by using CSS.
It can be advantageous in a private system, such as an intranet for example, for every user to be able to see details of all reservations.
You can set how many weeks maximum that you want the user to be able to call up.
For special events, you can set a period of time in the future that doesn't change.
Subsequent months can be selected and called up directly by a click of the mouse. It is just as easy for the user to go back to the current week.
You can set the weekday on which the display begins. It is usually Monday, but it can be any other day.
You can set the number of and space between appointments individually.
You may define different reasons for an appointment, and also allocate to each of them a different duration. The length of the appointment is taken into consideration when subsequent appointments are booked.
A timeout feature allows an appointment to be temporarily reserved whilst the user makes his/her chosen booking. This prevents a quicker user from "stealing" an appointment from under someone's nose.
The number of appointments each day can be set individually. You can allow fewer or no appointment bookings at all to be made at weekends. You can also define a (lunch) break or completely hide whole weekdays.
Date formats (05.11., 05.11.2002, 05 Nov 2002, 05 November 2002 etc.) can be defined as you prefer in the configuration file.
The customer receives a confirmation e-mail for his booking, if this option has been configured.
The script works with a customer database. Returning visitors can call up their saved data using their name and password and therefore do not have to complete the form again every time.
The operator is able to remind customers of their appointments or to send them congratulatory e-mails on their birthdays.
If you want to provide appointment bookings for several areas/capacities, the user can move easily between the areas to see the times available.
